The August meeting will be hosted by JT again, but may be switched to August 24th. Keep an eye on your email!

Sorry for the short notice. There has been enough interest to switch the July meeting to this Saturday (the 14th) in Belvidere. We will be at either Anderson Dodge or shortly after at the Americas Best Value Inn.

This year’s May meeting will be hosted by Dave Tekampe again this year. You should have received directions in the most recent news letter. If not, feel free to contact the club staff.

Once again, Jim Reiser is hosting our April meeting at his house in Aurora, IL.

As is tradition, the first three meetings of the year will take place at Papa’s. Looking forward to freezing our tails off in the parking lot as always (though if this weather holds, maybe we’ll have a picnic instead).

Happy New Year from SDAC Chicago and congrats to JT, Dave, and Marybeth for their appointment as the new SDAC National directors. They have their work cut out for them so let’s all wish them luck! I think I speak on their behalf that if you feel like helping out more with the local chapter, feel free to let any of us know.

Just a reminder that our December meeting will be on the second Saturday of the month (the 10th) at Tuffy’s in Glendale Heights. See you there!

Ron and Keith will be hosting our 2nd annual Chili Cook-off at Tuffy’s in Glendale Heights on October 15th! Please RSVP if you are planning to bring your dish so that we know how many Crock Pots will need a plug.

My ISP didn’t like all of the outgoing email traffic, so the club list has moved to a Google Group. You should have received an invitation if you are a member in good standing. The current list will probably be shut down in a few weeks. If you suddenly stop getting club email, make sure you have accepted the invitation. If you didn’t receive one, contact myself or Dave T.
