SDAC Chicagoland
The club is having a group outing at Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals during the day (meet up time TBD) at the Rosemont Convention Center. Then we will meet at the Buona Beef in Rosemont on Touhy at around 5:30pm. http://www.buona.com/rosemont.php
The August meeting will be hosted by JT again, but may be switched to August 24th. Keep an eye on your email!
Sorry for the short notice. There has been enough interest to switch the July meeting to this Saturday (the 14th) in Belvidere. We will be at either Anderson Dodge or shortly after at the Americas Best Value Inn.
As is tradition, the first three meetings of the year will take place at Papa’s. Looking forward to freezing our tails off in the parking lot as always (though if this weather holds, maybe we’ll have a picnic instead).
Happy New Year from SDAC Chicago and congrats to JT, Dave, and Marybeth for their appointment as the new SDAC National directors. They have their work cut out for them so let’s all wish them luck! I think I speak on their behalf that if you feel like helping out more with the local chapter, feel free to let any of us know.

Back from the dead….
The club has switched hosting providers, so we had some interruptions in service after the DNS records finally updated. The club site is now sharing space on my hosting provider, Godaddy, along side minimopar.net and a couple of others. The transition has not been a smooth one, but I’m making progress. The gallery is going to be down for a while until I can work around some bugs in that software.
The mail list is another matter, as the club cannot really afford the necessary dedicated server to host a real mail list like before. We may have to look into other options, but in the short term I am trying to get it going on the server in my basement. 😉
Ian is closing down his hosting server, so a big thanks to him for hosting us all those years!

We need at least 8 people to go karting for our September meeting at Suger River Raceway up in Brodhead, WI. It looks like we’ll have enough racers, so assume that the karts are on!
